Office Manager
I began my career in dentistry almost 30 years ago and joined Dr. Ortiz in 2008. I am responsible for managing the front and back offices, accounts, insurance, and basically anything to help the office run smoothly from day to day. I enjoy helping people understand the importance of their dental health and making it possible for them to obtain the smile they have always wanted. I moved here from NY in 2005 with my husband, Al, and two sons, Christopher and Tyler. I also have two dogs: a Labrador named Jasmine and a Doberman, Shania. I enjoy escaping to the beach to play beach volleyball, paddle-boarding, or just hanging out with a good book. I stay active by going to the gym, playing tennis, and biking.

Hygienist
My career in dentistry began in 1997 as a dental assistant. In 2007, I became a Registered Dental Hygienist and joined Dr. Ortiz in 2011. I enjoy the professional relationships I've created with our patients while helping to promote their ideal oral health. I am originally from Ohio and moved to Florida in 2008 with my Maine Coon cat, Jazzie. I love outdoor activities including paddle-boarding, beach volleyball, and cycling, as well as going to the gym. I have a passion to learn new things and travel to places I have never been.

Administrative Assistant
I am one of the first people to welcome our patients when they come into our office, so I always have a friendly smile on my face! I am also responsible for confirming appointments and insurance and collecting payments. It is my goal to make everyone feel comfortable in our office, especially those with dental anxiety. We want you to feel at home here! I am married to my husband, John. We have four cats named Biskit, Oliver, Ginger, and Cooper. John and I enjoy spending our days off shopping for vintage 1960s-1970s items for our home.

I meet with many of our new patients to welcome them to our office, review their health history, and assist Dr. Ortiz and our hygienist with all aspects of patient care. Our patients are really wonderful people and I enjoy helping them achieve the dental health they deserve. It’s great to see them leave our office with a smile! Outside the office I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and going to the gym.
